perfect place for exploring aswan. fairly clean hotel, extremely helpful and genuinely helpful staff from the management to doorman. fashionable and brand-new rooms with a king bed for property guests. varied and large breakfast with lots of savoury foods. prime and quiet location for aswan, very close to the beach and a nubian village. also, in the open air cafe.

The hotel has the most idyllic location, sandwiched between the dunes at the edge of the desert and the picturesque cataracts of the Nile. There are great opportunities for bird-watching and nature lovers may like it.
Unfortunately some of the staff seem to be quite idle and some of the management are unprofessional and even aggressive. They all need training. I cannot imagine it is a place many guests return to. I certainly will not.

People were lovely, food excellent, very personal non-corporate place....
Some rooms have no windows and therefore no ventilation. This is a problem....

In ranging from a semi-authentic environment to kitch, the hotel did evoke a degree of quaint sentimentality. Our very tight schedule demanded logistical support in the form of transportation which was provided at additional cost.
Definitely and markedly overpriced. This should not have cost more than half of what we paid. This hotel is located in the most run down section of a depleted and unmanaged rural setting on the Nile, which might have once been quite fabulous in its authenticity and dramatic location. Staff spoke little or no English, which made it hard to communicate simple needs. Interiors were not clean, were dusty and interior design was amaturish and kitchy. The management complained to us that lack of certain services was the result of our staying only one night. The information provided about the hotel should have mentioned that the pick up and drop facility was available at extra charge.

This colorful guest house with a terrace over the Nile offered delicious regional specialties and a free airport shuttle. Perfect for soaking up some sun and enjoying the mountain views. I also loved the convenience store and hand-made products shop.
Couldn't really find a flaw, maybe the sun was too bright for my liking?

The location of the hotel was fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of our experience was the variety of activities available. We had the opportunity to participate in traditional Nubian dances and songs, which was a unique and memorable experience. the hotel provided convenient transportation to nearby attractions, making it easy for us to explore the area.
There were a few aspects of our stay that were disappointing. the room we stayed in was quite small and lacked some basic amenities such as a kettle or coffee.
